Just watched Ash let Gliscor train with the airbattle master, McCann! Thats great and it will get stronger, but does anyone else dislike Ash leaving pokemon behind? For me it's the thought that he doesn't seem to be going back for these pokemon....I mean Primeape and Charizard are surely all trained up by now and at huge levels, right?

Also, really really want Ash to return for pidgeot, I mean he left it near enough to his hometown I believe so it shouldn't be that hard the next time he returns from sinnoh perhaps.

I'm ok with butterfree as it has a family now and lapras has a family and is leading its herd, and squirtle too with the squirtle squad (although i'd give anything for squirtle to go back). But primeape, Charizard, Pidgeot and after a while Gliscor all need reclaiming, really hope they make it happen on the anime series, it would make many many fans happy!!

I agree completely. Ash really needs to stop giving his pokes away. It almost as if the writers don't want ash to become a master yet lol. If he had all those pokes he would have probably won the league. I really wish that he gets his originals back(primeape,pidgeot, and of course squirtle).

Ya your right, he would have had much more strength in depth in his teams for all the leagues, at last if their stalling his progress it means they don't plan on stopping anytime soon which is good i guess.

Although I think Ash has his best chance ever in Sinnoh. His team (in japan anime) is pikachu, torterra, infernape, staraptor, buizel and gible. If buizel evolved to floatzel and gible to at least gabite he would be very very strong indeed! That is if he chose to stick with those 6, i personnally hope he rotates all his pokes in!

Also, the elite 4 has featured much more in this region, its almost destined for Ash to battle them, after defeating Paul in the most epic pokemon league final ever!! But i don't think any of his pokes can touch Cynthia's garchomp but i'd settle for that ending.

Man i'm seriously considering applying to be a writer for that show, I already can't wait to see my version of events lol

also, ash let his bulbasaur stay at professor oaks ranch to prevent the grass type pokemon from fighting. He was probably his best grass type!

and dont forget laprass! When he let him go back to his long lost family. He seemed like a good pokemon, but what good would a laprass do on land anyways?

then there was His Haunter he gave to Sabrina. It didnt seem like a fighter, more of a jokester.

and last but not least: his Beedrill! Yes he did capture a Beedrill in the episode of the bug catching contest. But at the end of the episode, he ended up giving it to his friend Casey because of her love for black and yellow pokemon. It would have been cool for him to have kept it too!

Beedrill is no longer ash's pokemon, it belongs to Casey now.

Haunter was never ash's pokemon, it followed him and agreed to help him, then stayed with Sabrina after the gym battle.

I mentioned Lapras, but its leading its herd now, but i do see it and Ash reuniting in the future at some point, but in the immediate future, Ash must return and collect his primeape, pidgeot and charizard!

A new Japanese Pokemon Anime episode title has been released, and it's said to feature all of Ash's past Pokemon in a reunion between them and Ash. Even though I don't watch the anime series anymore, that will be a good episode to watch for old Pokemon anime fans for the nostalgia of seeing those old friends again.

The episode will be shown on June 24th in Japan.

Ya i'v been hearing about this too, apparently it is just before the sinnoh league and prof oak brings all of ash's pokes to him, altho it is speculated that charizard and squirtle will not be included in this as they are not with oak.

thats gonna be a lot of pokemon! especially his Tauros!

Ya wonder will it be all 30 or just one, he should just release like 29 of em if he's never going use them.

Now that the episode has gone by, I feel a little disappointed because it focuses mainly on his Johto squad, rather than some of th classics like Charizard. I imagine Charizard and Squirtle will reappear at some point towards the end of the tournament, where Ash loses to a guy with some Gen 5 Pokemon. Yes, it will happen. Trust me.

ash was such a better trainer back in the day! he loses evrey other gym battle today unlike he did back then!

The anime has gone horribly downhill since Johto. The new voice actor's are awful, this new Ash is nothing next to Veronica Taylor's version.
I know why they have to rotate his teams out of the anime, I mean, if he never caught anything, it would suck a lot. I hope he goes back to catching all three starters again, after all, the Indigo Series and the Johto series were the best ones, and they always formed an important part of his squad.

I totaly agree with you Oak the johto series and indigo series were the best but the series I like the best was the Kanto series!

Ash brought back Cyndaquil and Heracross for the first round and Cyndaquil Evolved into Quilava!!!!!!!
Quilava also learned Aerial Ace and Eruption.
