Calling all Lancers

Hello guys and gals. The forum is being revitalized. As you may already have noticed a lot of archiving was done today to start anew. Thanks so much to all who hung around all this time. As I went thru the old threads I really missed what made this forum so great and that was all our fellow Lancers and the fun we had even though the forum was never a large community. The slow growth allowed close friendships to be made which made it that much special. So let's make it that way again. To start the forum will begin having regular events where all can meet to play games of all kinds not just Pokémon. The events calendar thread will be updated for anyone interested. Also the Pokémon League will be fully revamped to include seasons. For those that don't know about seasons let me summarize. Seasons go on for a certain amount of time. During that time you have to collect all badges and strive to defeat the elite 4 to become champ. If you win you will be crowned champ for the next season and it starts all over again. The reason for this is because I started to notice that a lot of our members went and obtained badges. Some got them all and then left as there was nothing else to compete for Pokémon related. What was also happening was each time a new gen came we had to try to accommodate previous gen. Also Gym Leaders began to get bored and others also others expressed that they wished they had this new Pokémon before to receive challengers. A new season is a fresh start. opportunities for new Leaders can also be possible with each season. However if a Leader remains active and wants to continue they won't be removed so no worries. More to come soon as well as more chances for cool prizes also. In addition the tournaments will be more involved with different games. It'll be our own esports lol. To get the ball rolling I will be posting when I will be online for battles and such this evening. Anyone interested in going thru this ride again post it below. Thanks guys and gals.

The forum was good in its glory days! People either had life or new opportunities in their way that just left them astray. May I suggest using the email announcement option in the admin panel to remind former members about a comeback to bring interest back? I did suggest more options towards PC gaming; but lack of interest and me indefinitely retiring my laptop and Steam until I get a new one put that idea on the shelf. But hey, I still use 3ds, ps4 if there is more opportunities for gaming.

This put a smile on my face for sure. Would love to recapture the fun we all jd here and who knows maybe even go a little bigger this time. Will be logging on most days now in excitement and will update my poke games in prep for gen 7 battles.

Will gladly play other games too (if I have them)

The email option is good but it'll be much more effective with activity no matter how small is in place so I will send one out after we have some events in place. And as long as I have the game I'm down for playing also OHKO. Sorry Cmndr but I still don't have a gaming PC so I could not get involved more.

My God the dead have arisen! Lol! So good to hear from you guys. Of course whatever we can do to increase activity and have tons of fun again, you can count me in! And with Pokemon Sun and Moon coming this fall it will be perfect timing.

YES!!!!! Donneh!!! Don't call this a comeback but what a comeback we have already, few others like darki, tman, Ace and we would have a good chunk of the original crew back together

Update guys and gals. Season 1 is going to begin on October 1. and will last for 3 months. What does this mean? January 1 will begin season 2 and so on. it falls right in time for the pokebank update that many are waiting for. For right now here is the format:

October 1st-23rd(around 3 weeks)- Battles, battles,battles. Lancers will try to get in as many wins as possible. Since our forum is slow right now the battles can be with anyone you want. It has to be 6 on 6 and must follow Uber Clause but the rest is up to you. Those that have the most legit battles in(Verified thru battle vids) will have the opportunity to become Gym leaders for the season or the chance to gain exclusive titles such as Pokemon Master, Ace Trainer, Etc. I'll update a new thread with all the titles available and how to get them. the last week of the month is for me lol. Ir'll give me the chance to evaluate the totals and contact the Lancers who won. In the event we find an amazing trainer we may contact them about becoming an elite 4 member but remember battles is the way to win. The last week also allows our leaders to prepare their teams. Starting November the Gym Challenge begins so you have 2 months to gain the badges and win the league. Next season it starts again. As I said in the event a Gym Leader does an amazing job(responds to battles promptly and wishes to continue an exception can be made or that leader may be promoted). I think this will be a truly fun time for fellow Lancers and I hope all that can participate will. Thanks guys and gals.
