Hey guys and gals. With E3 coming around I wanted to get your thoughts so far on the Xbox one and PS4. Some topics are still unclear until E3 but so far what do you guys think about the new systems.
PS4- So far I like what I am seeing about Sony's approach this time around. The are making the process easier so more support from developers can be coming. Some of the new features I'll probably not use much but hey it's different lol.
X box one- Right now I am not inpressed with the X box one yet. One was the lack of games shown, granted they usually wait until E3 so that will change hopefully) The other is similar to what I said about the PS4. All the features they showed so far I would have little use for. Call me old school but I am about games. If features improve the gaming experience I am all for it. However adding more features that do not will appeal to gamers yes but many times also increase the price. Who knows maybe they'll be two sets sold at launch lol.
That's all I got for now. Can't wait till E3 to see what surprises are coming.

Well, for the PS4, I am a little disappointed for my own personal reasons. I am STILL waiting for the Playstation console that has 100% backwards compatibility to all games dating back to the 1994 Playstation games! We all know that's just a big fantasy: It's never going to happen with their marketing today.
Xbox One... is an absolute fail... Microsoft really jumped the shark on this monstrosity. Let me list out all the fails:
1) You have to remain online at all times to play. The game features no option to play offline with its online features. Do you know how annoying that will be at times? When I play Portal or Amnesia on Steam, I usually go offline to avoid getting interrupted. Then there's the moments where I go on one of my secret servers on Team Fortress 2, and go offline so no one else discovers my whereabouts. If there was no offline mode, you would get bombarded with people's updates and messages. All the gaming celebrities who record gameplays on Youtube can no longer hide themselves when they record.
2) The money scam. This thing is a huge scam. Once installed, games are registered and tied to a user’s Xbox Live account. They can be played only by that user and other users in his or her household. If a gamer wants to take that disc to a friend’s house and play that game on someone else’s console, he or she will have to log into Xbox Live on the other person’s console. As the game is played on the new console, it will be installed on the hard drive and will remain installed after the game owner logs out and leaves. If the owner of that console wants to continue playing the game, he or she will be prompted to purchase it online at full retail. That means goodbye to the bit-coin industry for Xbox Live and any rental-subscription services such as Gamefly. You have to pay them a fee to play your own games!
3) That name It reminds me of the original Xbox. I know it's meant to be "The one"; but that name is lame.

Agreed with brony on all accounts when it comes to the xbox. The conference was a trainwreck, and I'd wage that most of their new game exclusives they've told us about require the kinect in some way or another.
Also, what's the point of all those gadgets if you don't live in the united states? Hurr durr

After seeing what Sony did to Microsoft, they won my respect as the second best trolling company in the world! (First going to Valve).
